How To Improve the snapshot resolution in adobe acrobat reader

We are regularly need to capture images from pdf files using adobe acrobat reader. while taking snapshot from acrobat reader there is reduction in clarity of the images. To rectify this problem there is an option in pdf to keeps the images with better  quality.

Follow the below steps to improve the resolution of pdf snapshot.

  • Open adobe acrobat reader.
  • From toolbar, select edit and choose preference.
  • From preference click categories and select general 
  • Choose option as shown and select the pixel/inch value as 300(value will be 1 to 700). By selecting value between 300 to 400 will give you better result. Note: 96 ppi would be fine on-line document.
  • Click ok.
Now capture snapshot(edit>Take a snapshot) from any pdf file and paste in paint or MS Word. You can also use the marque snapshot tool to capture images.
